Tax Free Shopping at NK 

Global Blue's Tax Free-service allows international shoppers to claim a refund on the VAT during their stay in Sweden. All residents in countries outside EU, Norway and Åland are eligible for this service. You can claim up to 19% of the value-added tax (sales tax) on your purchases by claiming the VAT back before travelling home. If you spend more than 200 SEK, you are eligible to claim a refund. 

1. Make your purchase at NK

All stores at NK are affiliated with Global Blue Tax Free, which gives you an immediate discount. Ask the sales assistant for a Tax Free Form when you pay. 

Early refund at NK: At NK you can claim your refund early (with conditions applied). Visit NK:s service center at level 4 in NK Stockholm or at the ground floor in NK Gothenburg to learn more and see if you are eligible. 

2. Get your stamp

When you are leaving Sweden to return home or to continue your journey, make sure to get your Tax Free Form stamped either at the Global Blue Refund office, agent or at the airport customs. If you are continuing your journey within the EU, get the stamp on your Tax Free Form at the final point of departure from the EU.

Be prepared to show these items for inspection: 

– Passport
– Original receipt 
– Tax Free Form
– Purchased items in an unused condition 

3. Global Blue cash-back

Show your stamped Tax Free Form and passport at the refund point. The Global Blue staff or one of Global Blue’s partner refund agents will refund immediately. You can either get the refund back on your credit card, smart wallets or collect it in cash.
